His unconditioned house weight, during the off-season and while he is just hanging out on the farm, is about 193 pounds.

The 22,039-Pound World Record

In May 2026, Mr. Wednesday made history alongside his brother at the Bully Max UPF-sanctioned event by pulling 22,039 pounds at a competition weight of 186 pounds*. Both brothers moved the exact same 22,039-pound load, establishing the same world-record mark and cementing their place in canine performance history. See the full documentation of the 22,039-pound world record.

Grand Champion and Boerboel Expo Winner

Performance does not mean sacrificing breed type, structure, or appearance. In 2026, Mr. Wednesday won the Boerboel Expo, earning Boerboel Expo Dog of the Day, and became a SABBS Grand Champion. At the Boerboel Expo he was appraised at 92.3, placing him among the highest-appraised living Boerboels in the world. Following that win, he was named the official ambassador of the 2027 Boerboel Expo, representing the strength, structure, and breed standard across Boerboel Expo platforms for the coming year.

Size, Structure, and Athleticism

Standing 29 inches at the shoulder, Mr. Wednesday combines size, athleticism, and structure in a way that challenges the common belief that giant dogs cannot excel as working athletes. With a strong topline, balanced angulation, and powerful movement, he represents the complete package. Around Cold River he is affectionately known as "Sun's Big Brother" because of his large frame, and his results show that size and performance are not mutually exclusive.

Bred and Developed by Cold River

Mr. Wednesday and Sun Wukong came from a litter of 14. We kept seven, evaluated their development, structure, movement, drive, temperament, athletic ability, work ethic, recovery, and mental resilience, and narrowed the group down to two. Mr. Wednesday's Offspring

Cold River's Conquest is a daughter of Mr. Wednesday. At her very first weight-pull event she moved 21,336 pounds, took first place, and was handler withdrawn rather than worked until failure. That does not prove every offspring of Mr. Wednesday will become a high-level performance dog, because genetics do not work that way, but it is an encouraging sign of what he can pass on.

What's Next for Mr. Wednesday

With his ACE title within reach and his career still in its early stages, Mr. Wednesday continues to break stereotypes, set new standards, and follow a path that is uniquely his own.
